What is Pringle PCS?

Pringle PCS has been established since 1996, providing trusted IT, system development, training, and business support services to organisations of all sizes and industries.

At its heart, Pringle PCS wants to be more than just a contractor. We want to become part of your business — understanding how you work, supporting your staff, improving your systems, and helping your organisation grow.

To provide a full business solution for any business, of any size, in any industry.

We do not just fix problems. We help businesses improve how they work.

More Than an IT Company

Pringle PCS is primarily an IT and system development company, but our services go much further than traditional development.

We support businesses through:

  • Bullet
    Bespoke system development
  • Bullet
    IT support
  • Bullet
    Network and hardware support
  • Bullet
    Staff IT training
  • Bullet
    Business coaching
  • Bullet
    Sales training
  • Bullet
    Management training
  • Bullet
    First Aid training
  • Bullet
    Health & Safety training
  • Bullet
Mental Health Awareness and Mental Health Management training

This makes Pringle PCS different. We do not look at one problem in isolation. We look at the full business, the people, the systems, the processes, and the support needed to make real improvement happen.

How Pringle PCS is Different

Most development companies are given a specification or set of requirements and then build a system based on management’s instructions.

Pringle PCS can, and does, work successfully in that way. However, our preferred approach goes much deeper.

Before we create a solution, we learn the business.

We take time to understand:

  • Bullet
    How each department works
  • Bullet
What processes are currently in place
  • Bullet
    How staff use existing systems
  • Bullet
Where delays, duplication, or mistakes happen
  • Bullet
What management needs from the business
  • Bullet
What staff need to do their jobs better

One of the biggest challenges in any business is change. Staff may often be comfortable with the way things are, even when a process could be improved. Sometimes this is because change feels difficult. Sometimes it is because automation can feel like a threat to job security.

At Pringle PCS, we help manage that change properly. We do not simply build a system and walk away. We help staff understand why the change is needed, how it benefits the business, and how it can make their own jobs easier, more efficient, and more successful.

Systems, Training and Real Business Improvement

When Pringle PCS creates a bespoke system, we also look at the skills needed to make that system work properly.

That may include IT training, business coaching, process training, or management support.

A system is only successful if people understand how to use it.

That is why Pringle PCS combines development with training. We do not just give your business the tools. We teach your team how to use them properly.

Practical Business Coaching

One of the biggest problems with many business coaches is that they tell you what you are doing wrong, but they do not actually show you how to fix it.

Pringle PCS works differently.

For example, our sales training can be delivered alongside our own developed systems. We can teach your team how to handle sales calls, build a customer base, manage enquiries, follow up leads, and improve performance.

Our trainers can work side by side with your team on live clients and real business activity.

We call this shadow training.

This allows us to:

  • Bullet
Train staff in real working situations
  • Bullet
Support them while they carry out the task
  • Bullet
    Identify what is working well
  • Bullet
    Highlight areas for improvement
  • Bullet
    Report progress back to management
  • Bullet
Show real results from the training

This is not theory. This is practical support that helps your team improve while doing the job.

Supporting Internal IT Teams

Pringle PCS also supports and trains internal IT departments.

Many businesses have their own IT teams and internal systems, but they can still need a safety net. If key staff leave, knowledge can be lost. If systems are old or bespoke, support can become difficult. If a problem happens, it can be hard to know whether the issue is with the system, the network, the hardware, or the users.

Pringle PCS can support internal teams by helping with:

  • Bullet
    Existing internal systems
  • Bullet
    Bespoke software support
  • Bullet
    Development knowledge
  • Bullet
    Staff training
  • Bullet
    IT troubleshooting
  • Bullet
    Network and hardware issues
  • Bullet
    System documentation
  • Bullet
    Ongoing support

This gives businesses peace of mind and helps protect them from being too dependent on one person or one department.

No Problems, Just Solutions

No More Excuses,In many businesses, when something goes wrong, everyone looks for someone else to blame.

The system blames the network or the computers.
The network blames the system or the users.
The users blame the system or the network.

Everyone passes the problem around.

With Pringle PCS, there are no excuses.

We write the systems.
We support the networking and hardware.
We teach the staff.

That means we can look at the full picture and find the real cause of the problem.

This is one of the biggest strengths of Pringle PCS. We have a multi-skilled team that can offer a complete service, rather than only dealing with one part of the problem.

Many larger companies cannot offer this level of joined-up support.

Built on Trust and Reputation

Pringle PCS has built its client base and reputation through word of mouth.

Once a client works with Pringle PCS, we often become a trusted resource for many years.

Over the years, we have supported a wide range of organisations, from bespoke record database solutions with Eton College, through to becoming one of the main support and development resources during the distribution merger for Nissan and Renault — a relationship we are still supporting 20 years later.

We have also worked closely with organisations such as the Health and Safety Laboratory, providing development, teaching, and ongoing support.

These long-term relationships are what have helped Pringle PCS grow.

They show that we do not simply deliver a project and leave. We stay, support, improve, and continue to add value.

The Future of the Pringle PCS Development Team

As artificial intelligence and modern software technologies continue to accelerate, the Pringle PCS Development Team is engineering the next generation of business systems to ensure our clients remain ahead of market change.

Automation, AI-driven analytics, predictive reporting, intelligent workflows, and secure internal data systems are reshaping the way businesses operate. Pringle PCS is actively developing solutions that harness these technologies to improve operational efficiency, deepen commercial insight, and strengthen strategic decision-making.

We also have a dedicated division focused on learning, testing, and building with leading AI technologies. This includes working with established AI platforms, while also creating our own secure AI programs that can learn from a client’s internal business data.

Our aim is to give businesses the power of AI while keeping their information completely secure, trusted, and controlled.

This approach allows clients to benefit from internal AI tools, automation, intelligent reporting, and carefully managed access to external AI technologies — without risking unnecessary exposure of sensitive business data to the wider world.

Our development capability operates at the highest professional standard. Alongside supporting blue-chip organisations, Pringle PCS actively delivers industry-led lectures to students and academic staff at the University of Sheffield, sharing real-world commercial system development experience and practical software architecture expertise.

By teaching both students and lecturers within the academic environment, we contribute directly to the development of future technology talent while remaining aligned with emerging technologies and modern development practices.

This involvement ensures that the Pringle PCS Development Team continues to evolve through a powerful combination of academic insight, real-world commercial experience, and practical business application.

By combining academic knowledge with over 30 years of real-world system development, Pringle PCS continues to refine, strengthen, and future-proof the systems and solutions our clients depend on.

The Future of Pringle PCS

The future of Pringle PCS is to continue becoming the complete support partner for businesses.

We will continue to combine system development, IT support, training, business coaching, and staff development into one joined-up service.

As technology changes, businesses need support they can trust. They need systems that work, staff who are confident, and a partner who understands the real problems they face every day.

That is what Pringle PCS aims to provide.

A full solution.
A trusted partner.
No problems, just solutions.
