This course gives delegates a clear understanding of common mental health illnesses. It helps people recognise the signs of mental ill health and gives them the confidence to support both themselves and others in a practical, sensitive and appropriate way.

Mental Health Awareness training is designed to improve understanding, reduce stigma and help delegates know when and how to signpost people towards appropriate professional support.

The course is delivered by experienced, qualified working mental health professionals and qualified First Aid assessors, bringing practical knowledge and real-world insight into the training room.

This Adult Mental Health First Aid two-day course raises awareness of what mental health is and helps employers do more to support their employees.

Pringle PCS recommends that attendees complete a Mental Health Awareness or Mental Health First Aider course, either in person or online, before attending this course.
