Introduction Microsoft Access Course
The first level aims to give users the knowledge and confidence to start using and understanding Access databases. This course explains the differences between flat and relational databases, including primary and foreign keys, so users can understand database structures and start producing linked tables, queries, forms and reports.
No previous experience of Microsoft Access is required. Delegates should have knowledge of basic computer skills, including how to use a mouse and keyboard.
Intermediate Microsoft Access Course
This course is aimed at users who have attended the previous stages or who are already very experienced and understand primary and foreign keys. It is ideal for people who need to question, append or delete data and produce professional reports from an existing database.
Delegates should have attended the previous stage of the Access course at Pringle PCS or have equivalent working knowledge. Delegates must understand primary and foreign keys.
Advanced Microsoft Access Course
Creating user-friendly forms can be difficult. This advanced course uses experience from the PCS Solutions team to demonstrate practical solutions, advanced database techniques, macros and subforms from queries.
Delegates should have attended the previous stage of the Access course at Pringle PCS or have equivalent working knowledge. Delegates must understand primary and foreign keys.
Company Classroom & IT Surgery
This training is delivered exclusively for your company, either at PCS or at your own premises. Evening and weekend dates are also available on request.
Courses can be tailored using your own company data or focused on specific problems that staff face. Topics can be taken and combined from different stages, or more than one course can be combined together.
An individual may not need a full day’s training if there are only a few areas of a program they need help with. The PCS IT Surgery allows employees to receive specific individual training without losing a full working day.
PCS can turn one of your rooms into an IT surgery where employees attend scheduled appointments, or the trainer can move desk to desk to teach and solve problems across your organisation.
The PCS training team can identify staff requirements and quickly evaluate how much time each person will need with the IT Master on the surgery day.
Live Remote Access Training
All PCS training courses can be taught remotely from your office or from home. Pringle PCS will provide login details so delegates can join the live training session.
With live online training, PCS provides a free 30-minute setup and test to show how remote learning works. This includes testing internet speed, connection and how to join the session.
Every delegate will need a working camera and microphone to interact with the class. PCS strongly recommends dual screens or access to a tablet for live online training.
Live online training can be delivered one-to-one or for a classroom of up to eight delegates. Courses can also be tailored to company requirements.
